Pastor Richard Rossman

Fr. Rossman was installed as the pastor of St. Peter's in June of 2005. In July of 2006, Fr. Dick was also installed as the pastor of St. Mark's Catholic Church by Archbishop John Vlazny. Not a stranger to the community of St. Peter's, Fr. Dick served as its deacon in the early 1970s. Prior to his appointment in Eugene, Fr. Dick was the pastor of Christ the King Parish in Milwaukie, Oregon. When not at work, Fr. Dick can often be found playing tennis, kayaking or mountain biking.

Fr. Michael Jeeva Antony, Parochial Vicar

Fr Michael is our new Parochial Vicar, both here and at St. Mark. He has been in the USA since October 2011. Fr. Michael was born on October 3, 1968, into a traditional Catholic family of Southern India, in Nagercoil, Kanya Kumari, Tamilnadu. He experienced the call to priesthood, studied at a seminary in the Goa region (which was colonized by the Portuguese), and was then ordained on May 22, 1999. He has served in various dioceses in both northern and southern India. He worked with a tribal Catholic community, the seminarians, and the last three years worked at an orphanage, serving 100 orphans.

We thank you, Fr. Michael, for your “yes” to God’s calling, and welcome you here to St. Peter and St. Mark. We look forward to getting to know you!
