Children's Liturgy of the Word



The Sunday Mass for the ears of a child

At St. Peter's, we value the strength and committment of our families. But, we also recognize that for some of the younger children, the Sunday liturgy can be a little daunting. That is why during the school year, St. Peter's offers Children's Liturgy of the Word at our 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning mass inside the community chapel.

A team of trained catechists lead children from ages 4-7 in song, word and prayer using the same Sunday morning readings, but in a "voice" that most young children can not only understand, but also become enthusiastic about too.
